First 2011 Challenge!

Marcia’s Meditiations will be challenging Kitshouse P4A participants to reach 500 youtube views. If that is met, then Marcia will donate her time to put on a five week Stress Management Seminar as long as a local space that can host it comes in on the challenge with her. The last Seminar she did in support of The Vancouver Foundation and Kitshouse filled up in ten days.
As an added inducement for international participants, if the video reaches 10,000 views Marcia will podcast a book.  Since she couldn’t get permission to read THE LION THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE, she will open it up to suggestions from the internet which can be emailed to

P4A 2011 Challenges

Kitshouse Project for Awesome participants are encouraged to challenge others to participate.  For example if a group or business is spending 15 minutes per person then they could calculate the total time and challenge another group of business to match them!  Also groups and individuals can make challenges based on how many comments or views the video receives.  These challenges can range from the silly to the profound.  In past years various videos have included people cutting their hair for LOCKS FOR LOVE, running marathons, and making donations. Let your imaginations soar!

Kitshouse 2011 Project for Awesome

Project for Awesome is a yearly fun international charity hack of Youtube starting on Dec 17th & continuing for 48 hours. People from all over the world post videos of their favorite charities, non-profits & other people view, favorite, rate, & comment REPEATEDLY until these videos take over the most talked about pages of Youtube, usurping cats playing pianos & and the like. This increases visibility for these non-profits & in so doing participation & donations for them. But none of this will be possible for the Kitshouse P4A without you.  Dec 17, watch, comment, favorite & rate. Please tell you friends!

Your participation will help propel the Kitshouse P4A video to the front pages of youtube.  Please help raise awareness for this wonderful non-profit dedicated to strengthening our community through leadership, collaboration & opportunity.
